Cape Piai - Continental Asia’s and Malaysia's southernmost point

A gazebo with a monument framed by the flags of Malaysia and Johor state marks the point where Malaysia ends as well as the continent to which it belongs, Asia. It is located at the southern tip of Cape Piai, where the waters of the Pacific and Indian oceans separate, within the Tanjung Piai National Park, famous for its mangroves and inhabited by numerous species, including many birds that, from September to March, migrate from Siberia seeking warmer temperatures. It should be noted that Singaporeans say that the southernmost point of Asia is in their country, in the island Pelawan. In fact, there you will find a sign that indicates it, but to get there you have to cross two bridges: the one linking Malaysia with Singapore (Sentosa) and another wooden pedestrian to the small island Pelawan. Too many manmade discussion issues to become the Southern Mostpoint, a place that in our opinion, belongs by nature to Cape Piai in Malaysia.

What else is there
Invite yourself to a good plate of seafood inside the park, in the village of fishermen. While you're there, cross over to Sentosa, one of the most important leisure centers of Singapore and enjoy the amusement parks, try your luck at a casino, relax on one of its beaches and visit the island Pelawan (Singapore).

Notes
This MOSTPOINT can be conquered throughout the year, because contrary to what happens in countries further north, Malaysia does not suffer the scourge of the monsoons. Yes, rainfall from October to April is very abundant, especially on the east coast, but these are tropical rains that last little and give quickly way to the sun again.
