Easternmost point of mainland Europe

Easternmost point of mainland Europe

Given the traditional definition of the Urals as the European limit and the "Continental Divide" of the International Hydrographic Organization, the coordinates indicate the exact end point of the continent (except islands). This is an unnamed peak of 545 m / 1790 ft located 17 km / 10.5 mi northeast of Anoraga Gora (875 m / 2870 ft).

What else is there
Yamalia point is located in Yamalo, the largest administrative division of the autonomous district of Tyumen (750,000 km2 / 466.000 sq mi), with a low population density (500,000 inhabitants). The administrative center is Salekhard, the only city in the Arctic Circle.

Notes
Harsh conditions but if you dare, in Salekhard you can mark another MOSTPOINT: crossing the Arctic Circle on foot. What a picture! Few Mostpointers may get that one.
